When we arrived at the hotel, we were welcomed by Sarah and her bridesmaids. In true bridal playlist fashion, Wannabe by the Spice Girls was playing in the background. Sarah was a dream bride in the sense that she had brought all sorts of details to be photographed. She had saved lace from her gown to be used, and I could not have been any more giddy! I had a perfect swatch of blue fabric to complement her details. As soon as Sarah’s hair was finished, we loaded up in our cars and headed to the ceremony.
The ceremony was held at Bath United Church of Christ. It was such a beautiful, traditional, white sanctuary! There was so much natural light. As Sarah walked down the aisle, Sean’s face lit up. When they turned to face each other, as all almost wives should do, she straightened his bow tie.
As the two of them listened to the sermon, I saw them take quick, excited glances at each other. And as they served communion to their guests, their love for their friends and family was quite evident. Sarah and Sean have such welcoming and inclusive spirits.
After they said I do, we headed to the reception at the Our Lady of the Cedars Banquet Hall in Fairlawn, Ohio. The hall had been tastefully decorated with greenery, pink flowers, and navy napkins. Candles set the mood for this romantic blue wedding. The venue had a beautiful outdoor space for guests to enjoy a little quieter conversation and relax.
As their many guests visited with Sean & Sarah, the band kept the mood light and fun. Alan & The Galaxy did an excellent job covering a variety of songs. Sean & Sarah’s guests were not shy of the dance floor. The dance floor filled as soon as it opened. Throughout the reception, guests had the opportunity to play an oversized jenga & cornhole. While some guests played, others watched by the fire. The fixings for S’mores were available and the guests enjoyed conversation around the fire. In true Sean & Sarah fashion, popcorn was being popped and a cotton candy machine was brought out. Not only could guests enjoy these sweet treats, but they were allowed choose the flavor and make the cotton candy themselves if they wished! What a fun experience.
We could not have had a better time photographing Sean & Sarah’s wedding! They were dream clients, and we are so happy for them. Please enjoy their beautiful wedding with their beautiful wedding photographs!
