Personally, I love wedding details and colors that will remain timeless. Many of the details were chosen very specifically for those reasons. My awesome team of vendors took my inspiration and ran with it!
Many of the details were put into the table setting. Tri-County Rentals brought their A-game and supplied most of the details. The farm table sat at Hotel Domestique’s courtyard was surrounded by six unique dining chairs. Each place setting had a gold rimmed glass charger, paired with a simple, white modern dinner plate. In addition to the plate, I hand dyed the napkins blue and added the prettiest gold leaf napkin rings. Finally, modern wine glasses and gold flatware were added to complete the settings.
To finish the table, Your Special Day, created three gorgeous floral arrangements, and were placed on top of a white cheesecloth table runner.
The cake was set up by a stucco wall, on a table of hand dyed linens. Tessa Pinner created a textured and classy blue and pink cake that perfectly matched the rest of the shoot. Tessa is an artist, and her cakes are literal pieces of art.
Our intimate ceremony space at Hotel Domestique was overlooking the mountains, and framed with an A-symmetrical floral arch. While a big wedding couldn’t easily get away with such a small ceremony space, it is the dreamiest of locations for an intimate wedding.
Cindy Mcgrath Makeup nailed the bridal look. The makeup was simple and showed off our bride’s gorgeous features. Cindy created a loosely swept back and twisted hairstyle that was not only beautiful, but perfectly matched the laid back nature of our bride. The Iva Crepe Maxi dress by Jill Jill Stuart offered the minimalist bridal look. It was understated and simple, which I love!
To finish off the look, the Chloe heel from Bella Belle’s bridal collection featured beautiful embroidered and beaded florals. The blue, pink, and peach floral designs looked as if it were made for the shoot.
Equally important as the big pieces of the day, the stationery by Vivian Kammel made a huge impact on the shoot. Her neutral toned invitations, hand crafted envelopes, and sweeping calligraphy added that touch of elegance and simplicity that the day needed. Each and every one of her pieces offered a piece of personalized specialness to the day.
On the day of the shoot, Laura with Weddings by Lala did a ton of work putting together all of the details exactly as I had planned, straightening things up, and tearing down. She was so great to work with, and I seriously don’t know what I would have done without her.
A huge shout out to our couple, Trey & Maria! They were the best of models and should probably take up a career and do it for a living. Seriously, they’re the kindest people. I’m so thankful that they were willing to take a chance on some random person on Instagram.
Leave a note to tell me what is your favorite part of the shoot, or what your dream wedding looks like! I love to hear big ideas.
As a side note, this shoot was published over on The Carolina’s Magazine blog !
