Shaun & Johanna’s Wedding at the Orlando, Florida 310 Lakeside Restaurant

SHAUN & JOHANNA- 

A few months ago I had the opportunity to fly down to Orlando, Florida to photograph a beautiful Sunday afternoon wedding. I received the initial email from Johanna’s mother, and from what she was saying, I knew I wanted to photograph this wedding. Johanna and I set up a phone call, and I remember thinking: YES! SHE IS PERFECT. THIS WEDDING IS PERFECT. She knew what they wanted, how she described themselves as a couple was inspiring, and I remember her saying over and over the importance of family in the day. I flew down with my cameras in hand and prepared to photograph the day. 

It was a beautiful day for a wedding. Partly sunny, a nice breeze, and low 80’s. PERFECT. I Ubered over to The Wellborn Suites to find Johanna and her best ladies getting ready. Johanna’s mother greeted me with a hug and the day began. 

Johanna is one of those people that you feel like you’ve known forever, and there really isn’t any awkwardness.  She wasn’t afraid to jump in and help some of the others get their makeup done.  She was such a joy to be around. 

I met Shaun for the first time right before the ceremony. He was quiet, however, very kind and considerate. Watching him with his friends, you can tell he is good friend. 

Shaun and Johanna together, well, Johanna just brings out the smiles and laughter from Shaun. It amazes me how at every wedding each couple seems so fitting for one another. Johanna & Shaun were relaxed, enjoying themselves, hospitable to their guests, and were just a pleasure to be around.
