Rachael and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready in the Onesto’s bridal suite, while Nick and his groomsmen got ready at Nick & Rachael’s home. The girls were finishing up their hair and makeup when we arrived.Rachael was as cool as a cucumber.
If you’ve ever met Rachael, you’ll probably think to yourself at some point, she is so classy!! She has such a kind heart and carries herself with poise and grace. It was no surprise to us that she was so calm.
Rachael’s bridal details reflected her confident, graceful style. Along with her gorgeous lace & blush wedding gown by Morilee, she chose to die for blush Jessica Simpson heels, and the prettiest earrings. When I met with Rachael a month before the wedding, she told me about her perfume that she had gotten for the wedding day. It was a special made blend and it’s a special way to remember her wedding day! I loved the idea.
After Rachael slipped into her gown, her bridesmaids waited in the Onesto foyer for a bridesmaid first look followed by a daddy daughter first look. Their reactions were priceless! Rachael is so truly loved by her family and her bridesmaids. They were all so excited to be by her side throughout the day.
As Nick watched the clock (literally) and waited patiently for 3:30 to come around, his groomsmen kept the mood light by playing a tune with the choir piano and maracas. We had so much time after arriving to the ceremony to photograph the ceremony details. We can only imagine how much torture it had to be for Rachael and Nick!
Alas, 3:30 rolled around and the wedding ceremony began at the Community Christian Church in North Canton. The beautiful white and blue sanctuary was elegantly decorated with silk sashes encasing silver dollar eucalyptus and the prettiest white roses. The excitement was growing among guests, but what was most touching was the look on Nick’s face. He was SO ready to marry Rachael. As the bridesmaids walked down the aisle, the happiest of tears were being shed all throughout the sanctuary! As Nick locked eyes with Rachael, you could see just how overjoyed he was to make her his wife and how earnestly he cared and loved her. After the exchanging of vows, the I do’s, and a prayer with family, Nick and Rachael finally were officially married!
As we photographed Nick and Rachael, it was so evident as to why they were together. When you are around them, there is a sense of home and belonging. They’re inclusive, kind, and caring. They’re that “couple goals” couple who is strong and steady. The couple that you can envision all that they’re going to live, love, and accomplish together. Strong and steady. Romantic and timeless. Legacy builders.
Finally, the wedding reception at The Historic Onesto Event Center was so beautifully decorated. Lafeyette Forest Nursery did an incredible job with the florals. There were roses and greenery everywhere! In the ballroom, Crystal Bloom Designs’ golden candelabra candles were lit and they flickered and danced across the room. Guests enjoyed each others company, and toasts including stories of “best sister” and hilarious jokes were made. Nick and Rachael’s wedding became one of the most romantic and beautiful weddings.
Here’s to your forever, Nick and Rachael! We cannot wait to cheer you on and pray for you in your marriage and life together. We are so inspired by you!
